EJ Bradford was 21-years-old when he was shot and killed by police at a mall in Alabama. Police were responding to shots fired at the Riverchase Galeria and targeted EJ as the shooter. Now, the police are saying they killed the wrong person. Protesters are calling for police to release body camera and security footage.

JEMEL ROBERSON

Jemel Roberson was 26-years-old when he was shot and killed by police while working at Manny's Blue Room outside of Chicago on November 11, 2018. Roberson was an armed security guard at the tavern and had tackled a man who came into the bar and opened fired, according to witnesses. Police responded to shots fired, saw Roberson with a gun and shot him. Witnesses say they told police that Roberson was security.

LAJUANA PHILLIPS

Lajuana Phillips was 36-years-old when she was shot by sheriff's deputy at a car dealership near San Bernardino, California. Police allege Phillips was an assault suspect and was not complying with commands before the deputy shot into her vehicle. Investigators are looking into the motives for the deputy's fatal use of force.

BOTHAM SHEM JEAN

Botham Jean was 26-years-old when an off-duty officer shot him in his own home. According to the officer, she confused Jean's apartment with her own and thought he was robbing it. Neighbors and family say the officer's story is hard to believe, as the police issued a search warrant to Jean's apartment and found marijuana. Activists say law enforcement is waging a smear campaign to find justification of his killing.

HARITH AUGUSTUS

Harith Augustus was 37-years-old when he was shot and killed by police on July 14, 2018 in Chicago. Body camera footage shows Harith speaking with officers who are grabbing at his wrists. When Harith pulled away, at least one officer open fired. The footage does not fully show the moments before and after the shooting. The footage does show that Harith was armed, but news outlets are saying he was licensed to own a firearm. Protesters are calling for more transparency in the department's investigation.

RASHAUN WASHINGTON

Rashaun Washington was 37-years-old when a Vineland, New Jersey police officer shot and killed him on July 14, 2018. Witnesses say an officer shot Washington 3 times in the back, then the police allowed a K-9 bite him several times while he was bleeding out. Witnesses also say Washington was clearly unarmed. The incident was caught on camera and the officer was placed on administrative leave.

Tony Green was 33-years-old when police fired multiple shots and killed him after a traffic stop. Community members say Green was a gentile man and they want answers. The officer was wearing a body cam and authorities are reviewing the footage, which has not been released to the public.

Antwon Rose was 17-years-old when he was shot and killed by police. Rose was fleeing a car stopped by the police when an officer shot him 3 times. None of the officers or cruisers on the scene had cameras on them.

NATHANIEL McCOY

Nathaniel McCoy was 32-years-old when police shot him with a stun gun. He died a week later at the hospital. McCoy's neighbor said he thought McCoy was under the influence at the time of the incident and that McCoy was handcuffed and naked when the police used the stun gun.

Robert Lawrence White was 41-years-old when police pepper sprayed and shot him. Police say body cam footage shows White assaulting officers, but the footage has never been released to the public. Witnesses say officers handcuffed White before trying to resuscitate.

Claudia Patricia Gómez González was 20-year-old when she was shot in the head by a US Customs and Border Patrol agent in Rio Bravo, Texas. Gómez died in circumstances that remain unclear, in an overgrown lot framed by ramshackle homes. She was about a third of a mile from the border.

Diante Yarber was 26-years-old when California police fired what sounded like more than 30 bullets at a packed car in a shopping store parking lot. The shooting also injured a young woman who was also in the car. The young woman said that Yarber showed no threat towards police and his killing was completely unjustified.

RONNELL FOSTER

Ronnell Foster was 32-years-old when a police officer fatally shot him after police say they were in fear of their lives after a scuffle. Foster's family filed a lawsuit against the California city of Vallejo and the police department because they believe the scuffle never happened and they want the police to release the body cam footage. Foster was not armed at the time of his death.

Ulises Valladares was a kidnapping victim when the FBI open fired in the home he was held in Texas. They were attempting to rescue Ulises after his young son and brother called the police to alert them of the kidnapping. Ulises was 47.

Arther McAfee, Jr was 61-years-old when a police officer shot and killed him in his home in Texas. Arther was an Army veteran with a history of mental illness and was on the floor being handcuffed when the police officer shot him in the chest twice, according to witnesses.

QUANICE HAYES

Quanice Hayes was 17-years-old when he was shot and killed by police on February 8th 2017. According to police, Hayes was complying at the time of the shooting and no charges were brought to Officer Andrew Hearst, who has reportedly been involved in two fatal shootings in the past five years. Hayes' family is suing the city of Portland for his death.

DANIEL SHAVER

Daniel Shaver was 26 years old when he was shot and killed by police on January 18, 2016 in a hotel in Mesa, Arizona. In a released video of the shooting, Shaver can be heard pleading with police to not shoot and complying with all of their orders. The officer who shot Shaver claimed it looked like Shaver was reaching for a weapon when the officer fired. No weapon was found on Shaver's body.

DOMINIQUE WHITE

Dominique White was shot at least six times in an altercation with police on September 28, 2017 in Topeka, Kansas. The police had originally said White was shot once in the chest, leading to his death. An autopsy revealed that White had been shot in the back, appearing to be fleeing the scene. He was 30 years old.
