Dream Hampton is a writer, award winning filmmaker and social justice organizer. She was friends and neighbors with Notorious B.I.G. who helped her create what would eventually become the Emmy award-winning VH1 documentary on the rapper titled, “Behind the Music: Notorious B.I.G.” She has also written about music, culture and politics for 20 years and was the first female editor of The Source magazine.
