DANIEL SHAVER

Daniel Shaver was 26 years old when he was shot and killed by police on January 18, 2016 in a hotel in Mesa, Arizona. In a released video of the shooting, Shaver can be heard pleading with police to not shoot and complying with all of their orders. The officer who shot Shaver claimed it looked like Shaver was reaching for a weapon when the officer fired. No weapon was found on Shaver’s body.
