Emil Wilbekin is best known for being the former Vice President of Brand Development for Vibe Ventures, where he oversaw Vibe.com, mobile, books, and Vibe TV, and executive produced the first Vibe Awards. He left Vibe in 2004 to become the Vice President of Brand Development for Marc Ecko Enterprises. Emil is now the founder of Native Son, a movement dedicated to the inspiration and empowerment of African-American men in the LGBT community.
